New work with bottles. I am now taking whole bottles and flattening. They can be used as serving trays, jewelry holders, gadget / key holders, soap dishes....

My first commissioned works (pt 1)

I am working on some jewelry for a local winery DeJon, in Hydes Md. I was given a Green and Clear bottle. Here are some pics from the work in progress

Pot melt......

A pot melt is when i take all my scraps of glass, put them into a pot,then heat them all at a high temp.The outcome is unpredictable Here is some of the cuts of the melt - before they are put back in the kiln- to be finished The colors are really amazing !

A new direction

For a while  i have only been making pendants.  People have been asking about earrings- so her is a stab at it!! I used Gin Bottles  and Vodka Mini Bottles . Pretty pleased with the outcome.

Some new bottles with text and graphics.They will be cut , and fire polished. All of these bottles were "rescued " from a neighbors recycle bin! I hope they enjoy their new life!
